This is my first Muse album but it won't be the last. As I favour the eclectic over the heavy rock but like a bit of both I have only given it 4 stars. I would recommend it as an album to have in the collection just for the first 3 tracks. CD is geat and contact was very good.

Unable to add item to Wish List. I love every track, they are all different using so many different sounds and I can listen to it over and over. First cd was 3 weeks after latest arrival ... Work of genius... very few Albums match this piece of work for honesty and gritty to the point facts about our future. Resistance by Muse another strong alternative rock album by this band.

The vinyl packaging (at least on my US-imported version) is *superb*: high-quality gatefold sleeve, plain poly-lined inners, two lyric sheets (one per disc), even nice labels.

I recently bought Absolution and really don't like that album at all, I feel that Muse are going in exactly the right direction and are an incredibily talented band.

Well I'm going to buck the apparent trend on here and say that this is my favourite Muse album. I really enjoy this album but I can see why some may be put off.

A part frim that the record is great. This is Muse's last album full of really spectacular songs. very diverse song selection, hard rocking to soft and mellow. The song makes several references to the novel Nineteen Eighty-Four, by George Orwell. The title song is particularly good.
I'm disappointed because, although the sound isn't affected, there's a scratch on one of the disks.

Superb songs, from stomping rabble-rousers to heart-wrenching regret.
